PRESSÃO DO LONDRINA!
Porém, ninguém aproveitou a chance. No final, Léo Passos tentou para o Náutico, mas o goleiro Victor Souza fez um milagre e evitou.

Tottenham Hotspur are now exploring a move for a “superb” Premier League ace to replace Fraser Forster, according to a report.
Fraser Forster failing to impress
After Guglielmo Vicario was ruled out with a long-term injury back in November, Ange Postecoglou made it clear in no uncertain terms that he had no plans to sign a goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
However, it would be fair to say that Fraser Forster has flattered to deceive in Vicario’s absence, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher highly critical of the goalkeeper after his performance in the 4-3 EFL Cup victory against Manchester United, saying: “Has there been a worse performance from two goalkeepers in the same game ever?”
As such, it appears as though Postecoglou has made a U-turn and will now look to bring in a new goalkeeper to replace Forster this January, and The Boot Room have now provided an update on one of the players Tottenham could target.
According to a report, Spurs are now interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Sam Johnstone this month, given that Forster’s introduction to the team has coincided with some poor results.

The Lilywhites are now exploring a loan deal for the Wolves goalkeeper, who is expected to be allowed to leave Molineux this month, given that Jose Sa has emerged as the Old Gold’s number one this season.
The opportunity to sign the 31-year-old, who was wanted by Antonio Conte in 2022, on an initial loan deal appeals to Tottenham, seemingly as a stop-gap until Vicario returns from his ankle injury.
Paul O Keefe has since reported that Johnstone is “one of the leading contenders” to strengthen the goalkeeper area this winter.
Johnstone also struggling between the sticks
In truth, both players have not been at their best over the past year, ranking in very low percentiles across a number of key metrics for goalkeepers.

As shown, Forster is performing slightly better across the three statistics, although it must be taken into account that he has played for a stronger team, who are expected to dominate certain games and therefore face fewer shots.
There is no doubt that Johnstone is talented, given his previous involvement with the England squad, winning four caps, and he has been lauded as “superb” by members of the media.
However, there is little evidence that the Englishman would be much of an upgrade on Forster for Tottenham in the second half of the season, so it may be worth Postecoglou looking at other targets.

Injuries have altered plans, but Andrew McDonald is keen for players to be in action rather than carrying drinks
Andrew McGlashan13-Jun-2022While the ODI series is their next focus, Australia have twin ambitions over the next couple of weeks in Sri Lanka as they look to take advantage of a world returning to something closer to normal after the many restrictions of the last two years. For the first time since the 2019 tour of England, the Australia A side is overseas and while the main group are engaged in five ODIs they will be playing two four-day matches against Sri Lanka A in Hambantota having completed two one-dayers in Colombo that were shared one apiece. The hope is that over the next fortnight as many players as possible can see actual match time rather than be running drinks, although some plans have had to be altered after the injuries to Mitchell Starc (finger) and Mitchell Marsh (calf) in the ODI squad. The most notable decision so far has been to send Travis Head with the A squad for the opening four-day match. He scored a one-day century off 76 balls against Sri Lanka A on Friday to continue his stellar white-ball form following a terrific return to the ODI side in Pakistan, but with David Warner and Steven Smith available again he has been forced aside although there remains a chance he could feature later in the series.Related

McDonald: Australia were 'one-dimensional' and 'too predictable' in third T20I, but it's been a chance to learn
“He’s pushing hard for selection,” head coach Andrew McDonald said. “He got an opportunity in Pakistan and took that with some brilliant ball-striking. Davey comes back into that spot and Steve Smith comes back in as well so there’s two big inclusions so he has to bide his time at the moment.”We see the opportunity for him to get some really good match opportunity within that A game building into the Test series so that’s equally important, his exposure to subcontinent conditions. So that’s been the messaging, the guys on deck over here we’d prefer to see then playing than running drinks.”It’s shifted in terms of having a couple of injuries so it’s changed our initial thinking. There is some desire to make sure our players are playing cricket when they are here…it’s about making sure we haven’t got people sitting on the bench two or three deep in that skillset and just lingering around. We don’t see that as a benefit to anyone.”Cameron Green and Alex Carey featured in the first one-day game for Australia A – with Green scoring an unbeaten hundred – and further mingling between the squads will be assessed after the first two ODIs in Pallekele when the series returns to Colombo. In another sign of Australia’s planning for the Test series, Green will be eased into bowling on the tour and won’t be used with the ball in the first two ODIs. He will have a crucial part to play in balancing the side in Galle and the outside chance remains of three spinners being considered.”He’s important, that allrounder capability gives you the flexibility to potentially pick three spinners – not sure which way we’ll land, we’ll wait until we get to Galle – but his bowling is important to this team,” McDonald said. “We saw it in Pakistan and we saw it in the Ashes. It’s important that we manage him along with the rest of our fast bowlers; when they are fit and available they are a very good combination so we want to protect that the best we can.”Another player who could benefit from a red-ball game before the Test series is legspinner Mitchell Swepson, who is again set to partner Nathan Lyon, but he may feature in the ODIs and could have to make do with red-ball specific training.”We are confident the coaching staff can prepare players whether it be through a match opportunity or whether through scenario training,” McDonald said. “He [Swepson] may get the opportunity to play in the one-day internationals so competitive cricket is always a benefit. You’ve seen over the last 12 months that we haven’t always had match opportunities in the lead-in to series.”It’s something the players are used to so we are confident that whether it’s with Australia A or here in the one-day internationals that we’ll be able to get the players prepared the best we can come the first Test.”There is, though, an ODI World Cup in less than 18 months which is also very central in McDonald’s plans now he has taken the head coach role permanently.”We haven’t played a lot of one-day cricket so the build-up to 2023 is really important,” he said. “We feel as though we have some really good plans in place to play a few different ways come 2023. We don’t know which personnel will be available, who’ll be injured at that time, so you have to cover all bases so it’s about building our capabilities in certain areas, making sure we don’t leave ourselves short, but also concentrating on winning games of cricket which is important.”

Surrey undone in miserly death over despite quickfire 40 from Jamie Overton

Jordan Thompson celebrates Yorkshire’s one-run win after a sensational final over•Getty Images
No, it wasn’t a case of mistaken identity when David Willey appeared at The Kia Oval wearing a Yorkshire team kit with Harry Brook’s name emblazoned across the back of his shirt. It was most certainly David Willey, the soon-to-be-ex-Vikings captain, ready to lead his side to Blast finals day with the most thrilling of wins over Surrey.Willey was perhaps less ready just four hours earlier when he was released from England’s T20I squad preparing for Thursday’s series opener against India and was stranded in Southampton without his Vikings gear. Brook was possibly more expectant of making the dash up the M3 and so there was only one thing for it.Willey had been critical of his side’s bowling after they lost their last two group games, and only scraped into the knockout phase thanks to Leicestershire’s points penalty for poor on-field discipline against Northamptonshire last week.So it was fitting that their place at Edgbaston on July 16 came down to a smart, nerveless, compelling final over from Jordan Thompson, that went for just two runs and featured a wicket plus the crucial run-out of Jamie Overton, whose display of brute force went incredibly close to seeing Surrey through.Coming in with his side 91 for 5 with six overs remaining, Overton thrashed 40 from just 21 balls, including four sixes to push his side to the point that they needed just five runs from the last over. But Thompson took the ball and sent down a bouncer followed by two yorkers before his slower ball drew a hefty swing and a miss outside off stump from Overton. Wicketkeeper Tom Kohler-Cadmore, whose 62 had helped Yorkshire to 160 for 5 from a precarious 9 for 2, fumbled the ball and Overton set off for a run before turning back only to see Kohler-Cadmore, glove off, throwing down the stumps with a devastating direct hit.Related

Overton, who had carried on his brilliant form with the bat after his 97 on Test debut against New Zealand at Headingley, kicked the ball away in fury as he walked off, his side now needing three runs off the last two deliveries.Thompson then had Sunil Narine brilliantly caught by Will Fraine, wheeling in from the boundary at deep backward square leg, and it was down to Gus Atkinson to score three off the final delivery. A swing and a miss resulted in a bye and it wasn’t enough.Fraine had an excellent outing, his unbeaten 32 coming in a handy 14-ball cameo to bump up Yorkshire’s total and he also took a good catch at fine leg to remove Tom Curran who shared a 55-run partnership with Rory Burns to help Surrey recover from 2 for 1 early in their pursuit.Whatever the match was missing in star power – both sides were without several international players – it made up for with excitement, turning this way and that throughout the contest.Willey, who had put on 93 runs for the third wicket with Kohler-Cadmore, struck in his first over to remove Will Jacks. Having been put down by Jonny Tattersall at backward point off the first ball of Surrey’s reply, Jacks tried to hit across the line of Willey’s sixth delivery and skewed his shot to Matthew Revis at third man.Burns and Curran put their foot down in the fourth over, which went for 22 runs as they each helped themselves to a four and a six off Revis. But then Dom Bess applied the plug, conceding just two runs off the next over.By the end of the powerplay, Surrey were 37 for 1, compared to Yorkshire’s 35 for 2, then Burns was bowled by Shadab Khan and the hosts were 57 for 2 in the ninth.Ollie Pope, who had made the journey south from Edgbaston the day after England’s Test victory over India, fell cheaply and Curran followed off the bowling of Willey for a handy 36 off 28 balls.Laurie Evans struck an assured 35 off 26 balls in the perfect support role to Overton who demanded all the attention, with three mammoth swings over the fence in the space of eight deliveries as Surrey scented victory.Evans launched Willey for six and was then dropped by Tattersall at backward point in the 17th over as the pressure mounted. Revis, bowling the penultimate over, conceded just two runs from the first five balls before Evans launched him for another six setting up the enthralling final stanza.Earlier, Jacks, standing in as Surrey’s captain for Chris Jordan who was with the England squad in Southampton, won the toss and chose to bowl first on a green pitch. He opened the bowling and had Yorkshire in trouble from the beginning when they lost Adam Lyth, the competition’s fourth-highest run-scorer going into the match, spooning just the third ball straight to Overton, diving forwards at cover.Finn Allen followed in the next over, skying Dan Worrall high above midwicket where Overton sat underneath it and already the visitors were two down with just nine runs on the board.Kohler-Cadmore and Willey kept them afloat and Shadab added a neat 21 off 12 balls but it would all come down to the bowlers and this time they were up to the task.
Chelsea have only scored four goals in their last five Premier League games, three of those four goals being scored by Cole Palmer, the other being a freekick from club captain, Reece James.
Whilst Nicolas Jackson has started the season well, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 21 games played, there have been dry spells (including this current five-game run) for the forward. Despite the brilliant all-round play the 23-year-old provides, he has still managed to miss some important chances this season, which in turn has cost the Blues on occasion.
This has led many fans to call for another striker option alongside Jackson, perhaps one that can offer something different from the bench. With the January window open, Chelsea’s directors could definitely achieve that this month.
Chelsea's striker search
According to reports from BILD, Chelsea are keen on Bayern Munich forward, Mathys Tel, and have already made contact with the player’s camp. On the other hand, Bayern Munich are interested in Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, which could cause a knock-on effect.
The 19-year-old can play as both a striker, but also as a winger (both sides), most commonly getting minutes as a left-winger for the German giants in his limited chances so far. Last campaign, Tel made 41 appearances under Thomas Tuchel, scoring ten goals, providing six assists and totalling 1,406 minutes played, with 24 of his 41 appearances coming from the left.
Mathys Tel
Tel has only made 12 appearances so far this campaign under new manager, Vincent Kompany, and is yet to provide a goal or assist in his 351 minutes played.
How Tel compares to Nicolas Jackson
As previously mentioned, Jackson started the season well, with Maresca taking a liking to the Senegal international for his on-ball qualities (aside from scoring goals), along with his off-ball movement and work rate to help the team in their overall play both in and out of possession.
Tel is an option who could play as that centre-forward for Chelsea, in a similar way to Jackson, dropping deep to play alongside Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernández in a pentagon-shaped midfield (with Moises Caicedo and one of their fullbacks inverting, usually at the base of midfield), but also making runs in behind and arriving in the box to finish chances.

When you compare the metrics of Jackson and Tel (from last season, as it gives a better understanding with a better sample size of minutes played), you can see Tel actually ranks as slightly more clinical with 0.17 goals/shot ratio, compared to Jackson’s ratio of 0.16. This is also considering Tel has a slightly higher shot volume per 90, with 3.75 shots per 90 compared to Jackson’s 3.33.
Despite being slightly smaller (6 foot tall compared to Jackson who is 6 foot 1), the 19-year-old also wins more aerial duels than Jackson with 1.05 compared to his 0.58, which is an important metric to analyse when looking at alternative striker options for the Senegal international.
Nicolas Jackson
One area the Blues will know they can improve on, is ensuring they capitalise on their creative quality from the likes of Palmer, Pedro Neto, Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernández, who can all provide brilliant crosses and long balls into the penalty area.
Having a striker who can add aerial prowess would give Maresca another attacking tool to utilise in his side, while potentially usurping Jackson in the near future.
Mykhailo Mudryk vs Mathys Tel comparison
But Tel isn’t just a striker option. As previously mentioned, he played more of his games for Bayern on the left under Tuchel, showing his versatility and how his skill set can translate into different zones on the pitch.
Comparisons such as Marcus Rashford and Cody Gakpo come to mind, with a taller framed winger, who can play as a centre-forward, using their instincts for a goal and physicality/athleticism to thrive.
Being right-footed, it allows Tel to cut inside and get his shots off on his stronger foot, something that has already become a trademark for him at such a young age with his excellent ball striking. Another example of this would be Kylian Mbappe, who has played as both a left-winger and a striker, but loves to cut inside from the left, often getting into his best shooting zones from that position.

One weak area for Tel as a winger, is his lack of range when it comes to crossing, often choosing to apply driven crosses into the box, rather than a variety of chipped/whipped attempts alongside them. This is similar with his key passes, often being similar compared to having a more creative range, especially when you consider how technically creative Tel is when dribbling and shooting.
Tel has been labelled an “absolute jewel” by Jacek Kulig, praising the youngster’s output at such a young age for Bayern. His mixture of pace and power allow him to be an outlet from the wing, whilst also having the quality to drift inside, link play and get a high volume of shots off, looking to be that goal-scoring winger type.
Whether Tel plays more as a striker or as a left-wing option, the 19-year-old’s addition would certainly equip Maresca with another option that is different from what they already have, allowing changes to be made to affect games sooner.
